Scope Note
A. D. S. Petition dated December 14, 1986 protesting "the recent actions of the American Civil Liberties Union against the State of Mississippi," "the recent actions of U. S. Dist. Judge William H. Barbour, Jr.," and favoring "the initial action of Gov. Bill Allain who ordered that the appropriate offices of the Water Sillers State Office Building be lighted in order to form a cross" during the Christmas season
